What if I get lost?
Lagan is a big school and teachers understand that some students may get lost trying to find their class, especially in the first few days and weeks! If you do, don't panic - there are a few things you can do:
1. Stick together as a group if you are all moving on to the same class. You can help each other to find your way, and you can also ask the teacher of the class you are going from to give you directions.
2. Check your timetable. This will have your room code on it, so even if you're not sure exactly where a room is you can at least check what floor you're supposed to be on. Once you're on the correct floor, it might be easier to find your way.
3. Ask for help. All staff will be happy to help you find your way, and you can also ask older students (especially Sixth Form - they are the ones in the green blazers) for help. If you can't see any staff or older students in the corridors, call in to the main office, learning support office or student office and the staff there will direct you.
