Lagan College is part of a much larger international community. For starters, students in other countries sometimes learn about Lagan in their history classes in school, as they hear about how we worked to bring people together in a divided community.
We also have strong connections with a school called Doane Stuart in the USA. Some of our students take part in exchange trips with students from there when they get to sixth form.
In addition to this, we have students from lots of different countries who come to learn together in Lagan. Some of these students may need a bit of help with English, so they go to extra lessons with Ms Charley. There is also a Friendship Club held in the Chaplaincy once a week where students from different backgrounds can meet together and make new friends.
