Your Form Tutor is the teacher you will see most often and they are very knowledgeable about most issues in school. Sometimes if what has gone wrong is more serious your Tutor may send you to speak to the Head of Year.
The Chaplains are there to have a chat if you are feeling down or need a friendly ear. You will find them in the Chaplaincy.
If you are feeling unwell the School Nurse (Mrs Leo) is in the Medical Room.
If Mrs Leo is unavailable then we also have some staff who are trained First-Aiders.
If you have a question about the buses then Mrs Hanley, the Student Welfare Officer is the person you need to speak to. She is very approachable and only too willing to give advice or guidance on any matter at any time.

Lunchtime Supervisors can keep you right about the places to eat and play at lunchtime.
Some classes may have Teaching Assistants who will be another adult in the class who can help in a crisis! Lots of people are here to help you. You will find in Lagan that our senior students are very willing to help as well as the adults. Look out for the green blazers, they belong to our Sixth Form who are the most senior students and they really know the ropes around here!
Finally, any teacher in Lagan will be more than happy to make sure that your first few weeks in Lagan College go smoothly and help you settle in. Perhaps the best bit of advice is - always ask if you are not sure and always look for help if you need it.
